Full Day Best spots in São Miguel Island

Overview

This is the biggest tour that exists in a single day and it consists in visiting the four most important parts of São Miguel island, those being: Sete Cidades, Lagoa do Fogo, Furnas, and Nordeste. This tour starts by going to Sete Cidades main viewpoint, where you will see the famous two different colored lagoons. Then, we will go to the main view of the beautiful Lagoa do Fogo. Lunch will be served in Furnas and you will have the chance to try the famous course called Cozido. After lunch, we will see the Furnas lagoon and the off to Povoação, the first place on the island that was populated and we will stop in two unique viewpoints. Then we will head to Nordeste, the most flourish parish of the Azores, with its views to the high coast of the island. Finally, off to Ribeira dos Caldeirões, where you will see an example of the magnificent waterfalls that exist in São Miguel island.
